Yang Endong Takes 4WD N4 Class Win at 2026 Wuyi Rally with RYDANZ R33

Wuyi, Zhejiang, May 31 — After three days and 12 special stages, the 2026 “Kombach Cup” China Wuyi Rally concluded successfully in Wuyi, Zhejiang, widely known as the “Home of Chinese Rally.” RYDANZ Tyre Team driver Yang Endong, with co-driver Hao Peng, delivered a composed and strategic performance in car No. 67, ultimately taking victory in the 4WD N4 class and adding another major trophy to the team’s record. This year’s event brought together an impressive field of competitors. A total of 25 top rally teams, 73 race cars, and 146 drivers and co-drivers from China and abroad gathered in Wuyi, competing across multiple categories including Open 4WD, Open 2WD, and Novice classes. The strong entry list made this round one of the most competitive domestic rally events in recent years. As one of China’s most iconic rally venues, Wuyi once again demonstrated the depth of its rally heritage through a demanding stage design. The 12-stage route included asphalt roads, concrete sections, the highly technical “Xu Lang Corner,” and challenging night stages, placing extremely high demands on driver precision, braking control, pace management, and tyre stability under changing conditions. As a key driver for RYDANZ Tyre Team, Yang Endong had already shown strong form last season by finishing as runner-up in the annual Professional Rally category. Returning to Wuyi this year in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, Yang set his sights firmly on the class victory. On the opening day, despite asphalt and concrete not being his strongest surfaces, he adapted quickly and kept himself firmly within the top three of the class, building a solid foundation for the final push. On the last day of competition, Yang increased his pace decisively. With precise rhythm control and consistent braking-point execution, he quickly overtook his main rivals, moved into first place in the class, and held the lead all the way to the finish. His performance secured a well-earned 4WD N4 class victory. After the race, Yang said: “This year’s event was very lively, and many of the top rally drivers in China came to compete, so the competition was extremely intense. Asphalt and concrete are not the surfaces I am most familiar with, but I have been working hard to learn and adapt. The Wuyi stages are very challenging, and controlling the braking points well is the key to winning.” At the 2026 Wuyi Rally, the RYDANZ R33 played an important role in supporting the team through high-intensity tarmac rally conditions. According to the product information, The R33 is a competition tyre developed for D1GP drifting, straight-line acceleration, and tarmac rally applications, with a focus on durability, structural stability, and consistent performance output. Its precisely designed tread helps deliver even and stable wear under aggressive driving, sustained acceleration, and demanding tarmac rally conditions, while maintaining reliable support through repeated deformation and impact. For the high-speed sections, continuous corners, night stages, and changing road surfaces of Wuyi, the R33’s asymmetric tread pattern and larger, sturdier outer tread blocks provided strong support under cornering loads, weight transfer, and heavy braking. At the same time, its balance between grip and slide allowed the driver to manage vehicle attitude more confidently from corner entry to exit, supporting a stable and controlled racing rhythm. It is also worth noting that the event achieved one of the highest finish rates seen in Chinese rallying in recent years. This result reflects improvements in event organization, stage design, and driver preparation, while also highlighting the importance of reliable competition tyres in supporting vehicle stability, safety, and handling confidence under extreme conditions. The application of the RYDANZ R33 at Wuyi once again demonstrated the dependable quality and professional performance of RYDANZ racing tyres in high-intensity competition environments. From last year’s annual runner-up result to this year’s round victory, Yang Endong has completed a clear transformation from challenger to class leader. With its strong performance at Wuyi, RYDANZ Tyre Team once again proved its competitive strength in China’s rally scene. As the 2026 season continues, the team will keep using motorsport as a proving ground, accumulating real-world racing experience and helping more drivers push limits and pursue higher honors on rally stages and circuits alike.

RYDANZ R50 Supports Overall Fastest Time at the 2026 CHC China Hill Climb Championship Hanyin Round

From April 24 to 26, 2026, the CHC China Hill Climb Championship Hanyin Round brought intense competition to a demanding mountain-road course in Hanyin, Shaanxi. As one of China’s representative motorsport formats that combines speed, precision control and route judgement, the event challenged drivers across multiple categories with changing gradients, consecutive corners and high-speed uphill sections. RYDANZ appeared at the Hanyin round with its motorsport tyre products, supporting performance vehicles under real racing conditions. One of the most important performance highlights of the weekend was achieved on RYDANZ tyres. At the Hanyin round, driver Billy Lo set the overall fastest time of the event with a 6:44.59 run in an Audi R8 GT3. The car was equipped with RYDANZ R50 tyres, using 295/35R18 on the front axle and 335/35R18 on the rear axle. This result demonstrated not only the driver’s pace and the race car’s capability, but also the R50’s grip, support and stability under high-speed, high-load and continuous-cornering conditions. Unlike a traditional closed racing circuit, a hill climb course places special demands on tyres. Steep gradients, rapid elevation changes, uneven road surfaces and narrow margins for error require the tyre to maintain stable performance during hard braking, corner entry, mid-corner load transfer and acceleration out of bends. In high-performance racing applications, the tyre is not only about maximum grip; it also directly affects steering response, vehicle balance and driver confidence. Designed for high-performance motorsport use, the RYDANZ R50 features an asymmetric tread layout focused on strong dry grip and high-speed stability. Its large, rigid outer shoulder helps deliver firm lateral support during aggressive cornering, while the open shoulder channeling supports airflow and contact stability at speed. The overall construction is developed around strong grip, fast response and consistent performance output, helping the car maintain direct road feedback under demanding driving conditions. The overall fastest time achieved by the Audi R8 GT3 on R50 tyres offered a strong demonstration of RYDANZ motorsport tyre capability in real competition. Through the repeated challenges of the Hanyin mountain course, the R50 handled the speed and load generated by a GT3 race car while delivering stable and efficient performance through the key sections. In recent years, RYDANZ has continued to deepen its presence in professional motorsport, from drifting and track-day applications to rally and hill climb events. For RYDANZ, racing is more than a stage for brand exposure. It is an essential path for technical validation and product evolution. Every demanding race condition brings real feedback that supports further development in tyre structure, compound and tread design. RYDANZ focuses on high-performance and motorsport applications, supporting a wide range of racing disciplines including drifting, circuit driving, rally and hill climb. The brand uses real race feedback to drive product evolution and turn motorsport experience into more controlled, stable and reliable driving performance.

RYDANZ R23: A Racing Platform Built for Multiple Competitive Missions

In motorsport, the real opponent is never just another driver—it is the ever-shifting limit of grip, temperature, and control. The RYDANZ R23 series was developed under this exact racing logic. It is not a general-purpose performance tyre, but a professional racing platform, engineered to serve different competitive objectives within the same track-focused framework. Rather than pursuing a single, compromise-driven solution, R23 is built around three critical racing variables: grip window, performance consistency, and controllable wear. Multiple compound options are not a concession—they are a deliberate response to different racing demands. Multiple Compounds: Tuned for Different Racing Intensities The R23 series adopts differentiated compound formulations to suit sprint-style attacks, sustained high-load running, and controlled race pacing. More aggressive compounds focus on rapid grip build-up and immediate response, allowing drivers to extract lap time quickly. Stability-oriented compounds emphasize temperature control and a predictable grip decay curve, ensuring consistent output over multiple laps. This approach allows the tyre to function as a tunable racing tool, rather than a limiting factor on vehicle performance. Drainage Design: Racing Conditions Are Not Always Perfect Even on the circuit, conditions are rarely ideal. R23 features zigzag-shaped main tread grooves combined with serrated lateral grooves, forming an efficient three-dimensional drainage system. This structure rapidly breaks water films and evacuates water from the contact patch, maintaining effective road contact under wet conditions. For racing tyres, true stability does not mean zero slip—it means predictable behavior when operating near the limit. Grip Structure: Making Lateral Force Work for the Driver The outer tread blocks of the R23 are designed with chamfered and raised edges, creating strong and consistent lateral support during high-speed cornering. A continuous central rib ensures stable contact during heavy braking and acceleration, maintaining a consistent footprint under load. Rather than chasing peak grip at a single point, the R23 focuses on the entire grip cycle—build-up, maintenance, and release—allowing drivers to manage lateral forces with confidence through every phase of a corner. Wear Management: Consistency Matters More Than One Fast Lap In competitive driving, lap time consistency often outweighs a single fastest lap. R23 employs a variable-pitch tread block layout to distribute stress more evenly across the tread surface, reducing localized wear. The wear-resistant compound is engineered to slow performance degradation without sacrificing grip. This enables the tyre to deliver stable feedback and predictable grip over prolonged high-load operation—supporting a reliable and repeatable racing rhythm. RYDANZ R23 exists purely for the circuit. It is not built for everyone—only for those who pursue speed with intent. RYDANZ TYRE —— Every Mile, Every Meter!
